Running firearm ammunition through a 37mm launcher is a fantastic way to destroy your launcher, hurt yourself, make an ATF agent have a very interesting conversation with you, and instantly vaporize your warranty. Break this rule and you are risking serious damage, personal injury, and potential ATF violations. Review the BATF rules before getting creative in ways your attorney will not enjoy. Built Like It Means Business

The Tac-D is not just another tube with a trigger. It features an ambidextrous safety, a fully enclosed cartridge head design, and a one-piece receiver for enhanced strength, durability, and reliability. It is single action with a side cocking lever and a positive trigger block safety. Constructed from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum and 4140 hardened steel, the Tac-D is rugged while maintaining a reasonable weight. Aluminum parts are treated to MIL-A-8625, Type II, Class 2, and steel components are black oxide treated. In other words, it is built in Florida by people who actually expect you to use it. The Tac-D 9" is the classic configuration: finished in tactical black and ready to mount directly beneath your favorite AR platform. If your style leans more "special operations" than "display case," this is the launcher you are looking for. Prefer a little more vintage military flair? Mount It Under Your Rifle...

The Tac-D mounts on any rifle or carbine fitted with a Picatinny rail using a 4" clamp and two bolts that provide one of the most solid attachment systems in the industry. The forward grip is machined as part of the barrel itself, giving the launcher a clean look and additional strength. The unobstructed top allows the launcher to lie flat against a full-length Picatinny rail, making it an excellent counterpoint to your AR platform. With aftermarket quad rails, the Tac-D can also attach to platforms such as AK variants, SKS rifles, and many tubular-feed shotguns. Important note: Use caution if mounting the Tac-D, or any underbarrel launcher from any manufacturer, to KeyMod or M-LOK systems. Those systems were not designed to handle heavy launcher recoil. Translation: do not ask lightweight accessory rails to do heavyweight launcher things.

Compatible Ammunition

The Tac-D is chambered in 37/38mm and handles standard 37mm ammunition within the appropriate length restrictions. Available civilian ammunition includes:

Description and Operation

The Tac-D is available in 6", 9", or 12" barrel configurations, with a full-length upper Picatinny rail for attachment to your Picatinny-equipped weapon. The underside of the barrel has a 4" rail at the muzzle end for a bipod or other accessories. Loading is accomplished by either releasing the barrel and sliding it forward or pivoting the barrel left or right, depending on the model, until it reaches its positive stop. Ammunition up to 6"+ long can be accommodated, including batons and other less-lethal law enforcement rounds, as well as OG 26.6mm and 12 gauge adapters where legally appropriate and specifically compatible. The standard finish is tactical black. Orange barrels may be available in very limited quantities.
