Whether you're signaling offshore, launching smoke at the range, or just building the coolest launcher in the neighborhood, the Tac-79 is ready for duty.

This configuration is equally at home on land or water. It is USCG Approved.  We'll engrave the official USCG approval number (160.028/29/0) directly onto the launcher. It also includes a 37mm to 12ga Boat Flare Adapter, allowing you to launch standard 12-gauge marine flares available at most sporting goods stores.

Our 37mm launchers are NOT firearms. That means NO firearm ammunition.

Do NOT use adapters to fire 12 gauge shotshells, centerfire ammunition, rimfire ammunition, Beehive rounds, or any other firearm ammunition through this launcher. Doing so can destroy your launcher, cause serious injury, and may violate applicable BATF regulations.

Built Like It Means Business

Every Tac-79 includes a 4" Picatinny rail mounted at the 12 o'clock position along with a 6" bottom rail for lights, grips, lasers, or whatever your mission requires.

The receiver is drilled and tapped to accept virtually any AR-compatible buttstock using only the buffer tube, castle nut, and alignment plate. No buffer or recoil spring required.
